                             Digital Signal Processing

Instructor:  James S. Walker       

This course will be an example-oriented introduction to basic techniques in digital signal processing, emphasizing especially ideas from Fourier analysis (Fourier series, Fourier transforms, z-transforms).  Students will make use of the software Octave (a free clone of MatLab) and the freeware Fawave for performing digital signal processing.
