Traditional Podcasting in the Classroom - For this project I created a podcast explaining and demonstrating critical literacy in the classroom. A lesson plan summary and student project expectations are shown on this page and include having students create a podcast detailing a critical conversation about a specific book.

Google My Maps in the Classroom - Students will use Google My Maps to create a virtual trip on the Underground Railroad. They will do research and use the information found to explain the significance of the points they have selected on their maps.

Google Documents - For this project I investigated the uses of Google Docs, specifically documents and presentations, and their uses in the K-12 classroom and professional life of a teacher.

Other Work Associated with EDMT 380

My Ma.gnolia Bookmarks - I used the Ma.gnolia social bookmarking site to create a list of 30 web sites that are helpful for future teachers and their students.

My Section Wiki - Throughout the course of the semester my section of EDMT 380 has been creating a wiki. The wiki includes discussions and information about geocaching, podcasting, various web 2.0 technologies, and other relevant information for K-8 teachers. You must be a member or be invited by a member to view this private wiki.

My Web 2.0 Assignment - The web 2.0 technology that I investigated was LibraryThing, which is an online book cataloging site. The link takes you to the page I created on the wiki that details what I found in my investigation. You must be a member or be invited by a member to view this private wiki.
