Artificial Intelligence is a dynamic field that is changing every day. It
touches many different aspects of the Information Systems field, including
remote communication, analysis and problem solving, multi-agent
collaboration, real-time reasoning, cost reductions, and technology
advancements. By combining these agents together, an Information System can
benefit from the different breakthroughs created in the artificial
intelligence field.
Intelligence is the ability to adapt to a new environment, comprehend
relationships, and evaluate. Artificial intelligence can be broken down
into two degrees of intelligence. The first is weak artificial
intelligence. Weak artificial intelligence is where machines act as if they
are intelligent but have no conscious thinking. The other type of
artificial intelligence is strong artificial intelligence. This is where
the intelligence of a robot can match or exceed that of a human.
