Research Day
October 27th

October 27th was dedicated to conducting research using a varienty of field techniques at two different sites on the Big Island of Hawaii. The 22 students were broken into two groups each led by one of our esteemed professors. One group went to Hapuna Beach, one of the most popular beaches on the Big Island and the other group went to Honokoa Gulch a mysteriously inscised gully.

The results of each research project will be presented at the Association of American Geographers conference in March 2005 in Chicago, Illinois.
