Training Fire Hall

Extensive training is involved with becoming a firefighter. Not only does a beginner firefighter have to take certain classes to learn about the field but he/she must go through different types of training in order to become certified.

One type of training is Basic EMT which consists of an extended version of first aide training. This training involves learning different parts of the body and how to help people with basic injuries and illnesses. Basic use of life support equipment is also included in this training.

Another type of training is Swift Water Rescue which consists of a simulation training each firefighter how to save someone in water. This provides the actual cold weather conditions and sometimes intense struggles between the firefighter and the person being rescued.

The last type of training mentioned is Vehicle extraction training. Each firefighter is trained on how to extract vehicles from different situations. Among the vehicle extraction training also includes recovering a person from a dangerous vehicle. The different equipment involved in vehicle extraction is dangerous and without the knowledge of how to use it properly, a person can cause a lot of harm.

More training is involved in becoming a firefighter than mentioned above.
