Session I – Offering an Open Source Network & Security Course

 

 

 

Holly will share her experience in how developing and evaluating an open source network and security laboratory and curriculum using the following 4 steps : 1) analyze current computer networking education in the higher education system, and IEEE/ACM IT computing curricula recommendation; 2) map the labs to the learning outcomes recommended by IEEE/ACM IT computing curricula; 3) create and implement the open-source based network and security laboratory and curriculum; and 4) evaluate the effectiveness of the laboratory and curriculum.
