Université de Pau et Des Pays de l'Adour

The Université de Pau et Des Pays de l'Adour was founded in 1972. The university is located a mile and a half away from the center of town and consists of several colleges, professional institutes, and polytechnic institutes.

 

On the campus, students can enjoy a large library for studying, two inexpensive dining halls to eat breakfast and lunch, and a variety of sports facilities including a rugby and soccer field.

 

As a foreign exchange student, every person is required to take three languages courses as well as a 1 or 3 credit French conversation course for a total of approximately 12 credits. Aside from the language and conversation courses, every student is also required to take a one 3-credit elective course.
