The Eau Claire Marathon has partnered with area runners and groups keen on making sure that YOU get the training advice and structure you need to suceed in completing the Eau Claire Half Marathon and Marathon. The Indianhead Track Club is sponsoring free weekly buildup runs every Saturday at 8:15 a.m. starting from the LOBBY OF HAAS FINE ARTS (Water Street and 1st Avenue). This year we will be meeting INSIDE and warming up staeting at 8am! This will help with proper warm-ups. These runs will be geared for people building up for the half marathon at a fairly novice level with support provided by ITC members and other area athletes. We will also be hosting longer runs for those building up to the marathon, and a distance running class from UWEC will be joining us. Those runners with more experience looking for a group to share their fitness journey are welcome to come by and join in the fun! For those ready to do more miles there is a group leaving Owen Park Tennis Courts at 7:30 a.m. doing 5 mile loops through Carson Park in about 45 minutes (or less - varies by those who show up) and some people do extra miles after our distance Map.

Saturday Runs Should be done at an EASY conversational pace as you build the diastance up. These runs will include water support when the runs get up to and exceed 8 miles. Just show up! No need to register, no need to come every week, no need to pay anything. Questions? Contact Matt Evans
