Story Place: The Children's Digital Library - Animated stories, reading lists and activities from the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County.

Book Hive - Also from Charlotte/Mecklenburg. In the Zinger Tales section you can watch online videos of professional storytellers like Jackie Torrence, Doc McConnell, Tony Tallent, and Donna Washington telling traditional folk tales.

Clifford the Big Red Dog - through PBS Kids, you can read and listen to several Clifford stories online

CBeebies Stories and Rhymes- From the kids section of the BBC website you’ll be playing and learning with a bundle of animated characters both familiar and new.
