Overview

This lesson is about planning a garden. It starts with the students being assigned a section of the garden, shade, partial sun or full sun. Next the students pick a plant that will grow in that section. They will research their plant and fill in journal question. Then they plant their plant, starting out in containers, and journal the plants grow by measuring the plant and drawing a picture of the plant. When the lesson is over they plant their plant in the school garden.
