This presentation showed the evolution of video game user interfaces, and how they infulence business interfaces now and will in the future.
A user interface is the physical means of communication between a person and a computer system. Input and output devices for the 5 human senses are the means of interaction with a computer. Tactile input and video output are the most common user interfaces.
Video games have pioneered the development and have been the ultimate test market for new user interfaces, and some business user interfaces have evolved from video game user interfaces. The presentation gives a brief history and evolution of gaming input and output devices, and then goes into brief descriptions/demos of future interfaces.
