Virtual worlds are currently being used for many purposes all throughout the business world. Companies are using them to train employees, for maketing purposes, and to even hold virtual conferences.

Although virtual worlds have many business benefits, there are ethics concerns that come with virtual worlds as well. The ethics issues that were discussed in class included issues such as gambling, money laundering, taxation of income, lewd behavior, and psychological issues.
