5th Grade - Language Arts
This DTP project will allow students to show off their knowledge of Publishing techniques as well as inform the rest of the class about their favorite author. Students are given the scenario that they have the opportunity to help choose an author to visit the school. They will be required to create a tri-fold brochure that could be handed out at a presentation given by the author. The information that must be included is birographical information, interesting facts, a list of books, contact information, and some graphic files (book covers) excluding pictures of the author from the internet.
(Note: example brochure was inspired by a recent trip to the library for the Chippewa Valley Literacy Festival)
